Baggage Policy

Volaris Airlines allows passengers to carry baggage of specific size and weight. The airline offers three options for baggage which are based on the type of fare purchased. The three categories are Zero, Basic, and, Plus.

In the Zero category passengers can bring in one personal item onboard which must fit under the front seat and no checked-in baggage is allowed.

In Basic, passengers can carry one personal item and one carry-on baggage. The carry-on baggage size must not exceed 22x16x10 inches (length x width x height). The combined weight of the personal and carry-on baggage should not exceed 33 lbs. In the Plus category passengers can carry one personal, 2 carry-ons, and one checked baggage. The size of personal and carry-ons should not exceed 22x16x10 in (length x width x height). The combined weight of personal and carry-ons should not exceed 44 lbs. The checked baggage should be 62 in and 55 lbs. However, Volaris baggage poly can differ on the basis of type of reservation and the destination. Passengers with extra baggage exceeding the required weight and size will have to pay a fee.

Web Check-in

For seamless travel experience passengers for domestic flights can check in 3,4 and 7 days before departure for Zero, Basic, and, Plus fare respectively. Passengers for international flights can check in from 24 hours up to one hour before departure.
