Mokulele Airlines is an American commuter airline with its base in Kona, on Big Island, Hawaii. The airline is headquartered at Kailua-Kona in Hawaii. The airline that has its headquarters at the Kahului Airport and Kona International Airport operates scheduled inter-island and charter flights.
The airline was established in the year 1994 as ‘Mokulele Flight Service’ by its founder Rebecca “Kawehi” Inaba. She was the first Hawaiian woman to start an airline in Hawaii. In 2005, the carrier was taken over by Boyer Industries LLC, headed by businessman William "Bill" Boyer Jr., who at that point became the airline’s CEO.
At present, Mokulele Airlines is very proud of being the Hawaiian legacy and its aim to make their service available to the people of these communities. The airline also allows transport of pet animals in the cabin or as cargo. For transport on Mokulele Airlines flights, the pets must be well behaved, harnessed with a leash, travel under the control of the traveler and must remain in the custody of the traveler at all times.
Connectivity and fleet Size
In terms of destinations, Mokulele Airlines offers Cheap Airline Tickets to nine destinations within the state of Hawaii and three destinations within California. As of May 2016, the Mokulele Airlines fleet consists 15 in-service aircraft among which 11 are Cessna 208EX Grand Caravan and other four are Cessna 208B Grand Caravan.

Carry-on Baggage
Passengers can carry one item with maximum dimensions of 22x14x9 inches and the maximum weight of the carry-on bag must not exceed 15 lbs.
Checked Baggage
Mokulele Airlines does not offer free checked baggage. Checked baggage can be purchased by paying additional charge. The maximum outside dimension for each checked bag should not exceed 30x15x45 inches and the maximum permitted weight per checked bag is 70 lbs.
