Based in Madrid, Iberia Airlines is the national airline of Spain. It was founded in 1927 and operates an international network of services from its main base at Madrid-Barajas Airport. Baggage Policy

Carry-on Baggage

Maximum dimensions and weight should not exceed 115cm and 22lb.

Passengers who have booked Business Class tickets for short and medium haul flights and Tourist Class passengers are permitted to carry only one piece of carry-on baggage and an extra personal item onboard Iberia Airlines flights.

The Business Plus Long Haul passengers can carry two pieces of carry-on baggage and one personal item onboard.

The personal item may include handbag, small briefcase, laptop computer, camera, baby bag, etc.

The maximum dimension of each piece of carry-on baggage must not exceed 56x45x25 cm. The baggage that exceeds these measurements will be considered checked baggage.

Checked-in Baggage

The passengers flying with Reduced Economy airline tickets can carry one piece of checked baggage whereas the Full Economy & Business Class passengers can carry two pieces of checked baggage. The Business Plus Class passengers can carry three pieces of checked baggage.

The maximum permitted weight of each checked baggage is 50 lbs. and the maximum permitted dimension is 158 cm.
