The baggage allowance on China Southern Airlines reservation differs on routes, which are listed as follows -

Checked Baggage Allowance for Flights to and fro New Zealand, Japan, Russia, Australia and from Singapore to China

Economy Class

One bag of 44lbs is allowed and the maximum size should not exceed 78 inches (Length+ width + height)

Business Class

A bag of 66 lbs is allowed for no charge and the maximum size is 78 inches (Length+ width + height)

First Class Passengers

A bag of 88 lbs is allowed at no charge and the size should not exceed 78 inches (Length+ width + height)

In case of checked baggage allowance for flights to the United States and Canada, the policies differ -

On Economy Class Reservations, the airline allows two bags that should not exceed 50lbs and the dimensions not exceeding 62 inches (Length + width + height).

For Premium Economy, two bags are allowed that should not exceed 50lbs each and the dimensions remain the same.

For the esteemed Business Class passengers, only two bags are allowed of 70lbs each and the maximum size should not exceed 62 inches (Length + width + height).

Carry–on Allowance

Business and Economy class passengers are allowed to carry one bag and one personal item such as briefcase and purse. While for the First Class passengers only 2 bags are allowed along with one personal item that must fit under the seat or the overhead bin.
