Air China (CA) is a major air carrier of China, founded on 1st July, 1988. This airline came into existence when the government of China divided the Civil Aviation Administrator of China’s flight processes into 6 distinct airlines. The airline is headquartered at Shunyi District of Beijing and has its hub at the Beijing Capital International Airport (BJS). Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport are the secondary hubs of Air China. Since December 2007, this airline has been a member of Star Alliance. For first and business class, 2 bags/ personal items are allowed to be carried; when summed up the weight must not exceed 17.6 lbs. For economy class, 1 bag/ personal item is allowed, whose weight does not exceed 11 lbs. The maximum dimensions of any piece of baggage should not surpass 21 x 16 x 20 inches.
Checked Baggage
For first and business class, 2 pieces of baggage are allowed; the weight of which should not be more than 70.5 lbs. For economy class passengers, 2 pieces of baggage are allowed to be transported; whose total weight is not more than 50.7 lbs.
